Whether you're looking for a new favorite coffee or have questions about your current one, we're here to help.
Coffee Recommendations
Not sure where to start? Use the Peet's Coffee Finder to discover coffees tailored to your taste preferences. Simply answer a few questions, and we'll recommend coffees that match your flavor profile and brewing style.
Low-Acid Coffee Options
While Peet's does not measure the acidity of our coffees, customers seeking a smoother cup often enjoy coffees sourced from the Indo-Pacific region, which tend to be fuller-bodied and less bright than many coffees from Central America and Africa.
Cold brew is another popular option, as the brewing process can produce a smoother, less acidic taste compared to traditional hot brewing methods.
White Flakes in Coffee
Light-colored flakes or specks in coffee are typically coffee chaff, a natural by-product of the roasting process. Chaff is a thin, parchment-like layer from the coffee bean that may be visible in whole bean or ground coffee.
This is completely normal and safe to brew and enjoy.
Coffee Quality Concerns
Peet's maintains strict standards for sourcing, blending, roasting, and quality testing. If your coffee does not meet expectations, return or exchange options depend on where it was purchased:
- Peet's Coffeebars: Visit the Peet's Coffeebar where the purchase was made for assistance with an exchange or refund.
- Peets.com: Contact our Customer Experience Team for support.
- Grocery Stores or Costco: Return the product to the original retailer, following their return policy.
- Amazon: Returns must be handled directly through Amazon. Peet's cannot guarantee the quality or authenticity of products purchased from unauthorized Amazon resellers.
