Brewing Guides
Peet's offers step-by-step brewing guides for a variety of brewing methods and equipment. Visit our Brew Guides page for videos, tips, and detailed instructions to help you make the perfect cup at home.
Coffee-to-Water Ratio
For best results, use:
- 2 tablespoons (10g) of ground coffee
- 6 fl oz (180 ml) of water
We recommend brewing with cold, filtered water for optimal flavor and consistency.
Grind Options
Peet's offers several grind options designed for specific brewing methods:
- Whole Bean (not ground)
- Press Pot/Percolator (coarse grind)
- Drip (medium grind)
- Espresso (fine grind)
Selecting the appropriate grind helps ensure proper extraction and a balanced cup.
Good to Know: Not every coffee is available in every grind option. For the freshest experience and greatest brewing flexibility, we recommend purchasing whole bean coffee and grinding it just before brewing.
Brewing Tips
- Use freshly ground coffee whenever possible.
- Measure coffee and water accurately for consistent results.
- Brew with cold, filtered water.
- Match your grind size to your brewing method for optimal flavor extraction.
