Manage payment methods, stored value, Auto Reload, and tipping through the Peet's app.
Payment Methods
Payment methods can be managed directly in the Peet's app.
To add, update, remove, or change your default payment method:
- Select Account from the app menu.
- Tap Payment Methods.
- Make your desired changes.
You can also select or update your payment method during checkout.
Stored Value & Gift Card Transfers
The Peet's app allows you to transfer the balance from a physical Gift Card or eGift Card to your digital Peet's Card.
To transfer a balance:
- Select Scan.
- Tap Add Funds.
- Select Add Card.
- Enter the Gift Card number and PIN.
- Confirm the transfer.
Important: Once funds are transferred to your digital Peet's Card, the original Gift Card or eGift Card is deactivated and can no longer be used. The maximum stored value balance allowed in the app is $350.
Using Stored Value on Peets.com
To use your digital Peet's Card balance on Peets.com:
- Log in using the same credentials associated with your Peetnik Rewards account.
- Enter your digital Peet's Card number and PIN in the gift card payment section during checkout.

Apple Pay®
Apple Pay® is supported on compatible iOS devices.
Customers can use Apple Pay to:
- Add funds to their digital Peet's Card
- Pay for Mobile Order Ahead purchases
- Pay for eligible in-store purchases
Auto Reload
Auto Reload allows you to automatically add funds to your digital Peet's Card when your balance reaches a selected amount.
To enable Auto Reload:
- Select Scan.
- Tap Add Funds.
- Turn on Auto Reload.
- Select your payment method and reload settings.
- Complete setup.
Note: Your balance must be above your selected reload threshold when setting up Auto Reload. For example, if Auto Reload is set to reload when your balance drops below $5, your balance must initially be above $5 to activate the feature.
Tipping
Customers can tip baristas through the Peet's app.
To leave a tip:
- Select Scan.
- Tap Tip My Barista.
- Choose the Coffeebar.
- Select the tip amount and payment method.
- Submit the tip.
A confirmation receipt will be sent to the email address associated with your account.
Please Note: Tips cannot be added when paying with stored value from a digital Peet's Card. Tipping is available when using an eligible credit or debit card.
