Managing Payment Methods
For security reasons, Peet's does not store payment information for one-time orders.
Payment methods can only be saved and managed for active subscriptions.
To update a subscription payment method:
- Log in to your Peet's account.
- Navigate to My Subscriptions.
- Locate the Billing section.
- Select the option to update your payment information.
- Follow the instructions sent to your email to securely enter your new payment details.
An active payment method is required to maintain an active subscription.
Removing a Payment Method

ShopPay & PayPal Subscriptions
Shop Pay is an accelerated checkout service provided by Shopify that allows customers to save payment and shipping information for faster checkout on participating websites.
If you do not wish to use Shop Pay, simply deselect the Shop Pay option during checkout.
Subscriptions created using Shop Pay or PayPal must be managed through those payment providers.
- To update the card associated with a Shop Pay subscription, update your payment information directly within your Shop Pay account.
- To update the card associated with a PayPal subscription, update your payment information directly within your PayPal account.
- Payment methods cannot be converted from Shop Pay or PayPal to a different payment type within an existing subscription.
Important: If you would like to stop using Shop Pay or PayPal and switch to a different payment method, you will need to cancel your existing subscription and create a new subscription using your preferred payment method.
Multiple Charges or Pending Transactions
If you see multiple charges on your account, they are often payment authorizations rather than completed charges.
When an order is placed, your payment method may show a temporary authorization or pending transaction. The actual charge is processed when the order ships, and any unused authorizations typically disappear automatically within a few business days.
